Seventeen Advice!!

I don't know if anyone reads this, but I've recently found this advice system on the website for Seventeen Magazine. It's great and organized and I get great advice right away when I post a question. It's really efficient and helpful, so I just wanted to post the link up here. http://answerology.seventeen.com/index.aspx

When I'm Alone

No one's here.
It's only me
So I have to only be.

No need to challenge
No need to expect
When I'm alone I never fret
I Only listen
Only learn the sounds outside my window

The fern
The birds, the trees, a fox, the sky
The entire world passing me by
Only me in my little chair

Thinking of things that were never there Imagining what the day would have been like
If I had been a little tyke
Not understanding what it meant
To experience a curious event
In which my love would say goodbye
And I was sad
And I would cry

For when you're young you believe you can fly
And most of your life quickly passes you by

Yes, when I'm alone I imagine these things

Without a care
No binding rings
No endless fights
No mounting fear of futures that are far too near.

When I'm alone I do not think
I do not need to have a link to the world outside
It isn't there
I need not care about the peope everywhere

I don't like being alone

I was dressed up in ribbons for you to undress.
All the shining, shimmering things til there was nothing left.
I was once upon a time something worth fighting for
Until you won me and there was no need to fight anymore.
So hang on 'cause the ribbon is slipping through
Your hands, and I'm falling into the earth.
Misplaced the Diamond for its worth.

A Rose, One Petal Fallen

What is this here?
Calm, Serene
Never has seen the light of day.
Never glimpsed a beautiful past.
It went by too fast to pray.

For a chance to give
A chance to earn
A chance to taste morning dew
A chance to follow when we can accept
That not all dreams come true.

This object here
So sad and beautiful
I sometimes hear it calling
It is a flower, old and wise
It's a rose, one petal fallen.
